Nervous about protecting the copyright of your scholarship posted online? Unsure about using images on your blog? Confused about copyright issues for a digital project you are planning? Whether you are a blogger, #Twitterstorian, or digital humanist, this workshop will help you understand your rights and responsibilities for copyright compliance as a digital scholar. Join us for an interactive session exploring copyright, fair use, licensing, seeking permission, and more. While academic librarians cannot provide legal advice, we can recommend tips and tools to interpret guidelines and user agreements, organize and preserve research data, and document ownership and/or personal compliance with copyright regulations. Questions and lively discussion are encouraged throughout this workshop.
